Tom & Jerry's Tourist Trap

The Tom and Jerry Tourist Trap parade float is one of my favorite projects date. To promote Warner Bros. Studio's upcoming film in 2021, they wanted to pursue a design that would encapsulate not just the mayhem of Tom and Jerry, but also the unique 'squash-n-stretch' comedy for which the brand is known.

The talented engineers at the Parade Studio outdid themselves when they agreed to all these points of action called for in the design: Pretzel Tom, Twisted Tom, Liquid Tom, Steam-rolled Tom and most importantly Balloon Tom. By incorporating the tow-vehicle in the mayhem there's a self-aware element that allows the audience to be in the joke. I love it!
