Toni BandLeader Bear Novelty Balloon

Macy's, Inc. entrusted me with redesigning the Teddy Bear heritage balloon. To celebrate the tradition of the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade I named him Toni after Tony Sarg, the original creative powerhouse who founded the Parade those many years ago. Early on in the concepting stage I wanted Toni's design to honor the Parade's retro aesthetic, but with a modern twist.
